Anu earned her law degree in England before completing a Master of Laws (LLM) at Osgoode Hall Law School. She began her legal career at Dentons Canada, where she articled and later practised as an associate in the Corporate and Intellectual Property groups. Anu was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022 and now serves as Legal Counsel at Olympia Financial Group Inc.

Her career has been shaped by a belief that the practice of law demands constant reinvention. This mindset has guided the way she approaches evolving legal challenges, adapts to new professional environments, and pivots thoughtfully as the needs of clients and the profession continue to change.

Since 2021, Anu has served on the Board of Global Lawyers of Canada, first as a Director and Secretary and now as Co‑President. In this leadership role, she remains dedicated to empowering internationally trained lawyers and supporting their successful integration and advancement within the Canadian legal profession.
